Started exercising again. Will soon be a year since my surgery and wanted to do exercise throughout September. I want to start now so it becomes a habit so it gets more difficult for me to stop in September. I did 300 today, and I felt like I’ve done a 1,000. Exercise is hard.

Today isn’t the first time doing this, or exercising but I often give up after some days when I don’t see any improvement or change. I’m hoping there will be some changes soon this time round before I give up, or I just hope and pray not to give up come what may this time round.

Let’s wait and see, but I’m hoping for the best. I find it hard sleeping early, and so waking up to exercise becomes a challenge. I often sleep after midnight. I also don’t think it’s a good idea to do this late at night.

I went for a workshop being organized by the Ghana Education Service to introduce the new curriculum to teachers. School resumes next week and they are now taking teachers through a new curriculum and expect it to be used from next week.

The program was scheduled to start yesterday, but it was postponed and it started today. It was supposed to start at 8am today, but we began at 9am. I do hope organizers do a better job tomorrow because each school is paying for it. That’s all I’ve been up to today and hope to meet you here same time tomorrow. Goodnight 💤.

Difficult to exercise after an operation my friend. I am in my 2nd year of recuperation after a major op and still have one year to go, but luckily I walk a lot.
The muscle regeneration is going to have to wait until next year.
Good going over there and keep it up.

You can exercise in the evening why not? If you are a night owl you will have more energy. It works inside too.

We can share our experiences and stay in touch. I find it hard too to continue, more frequently forget to take the phone with me or not move it so it does not count steps or... it is empty again.

Always thought evening exercises weren't effective, but I will start now

Why shouldnt they? Here they even advise to have an evening walk before going to bed since it relaxes. As ling as it is not dangerous outside you can.

If it does work for you you have to do that. 👍💕

I generally don't see walking as an exercise, unless I'm walking briskly

I find it hard to get back into exercising as well. I just had a baby 3 months ago and I need to get some muscle back, but I am having a hard time getting into the routine again.
