There are some locks that are difficult to escape. Before grabbing you like that, you can prevent that. But sometimes your opponent just grabs you and apply pressure. One of these grabs and locks is full nelson. Someone grabs you from behind, his hands go under your arms and put pressure on your neck.
I'm going to share a video just to see how this looks like. Just look at the thumbnail of this video.
In this video, it shows how to do full nelson. Today we are going to learn how to get out of the full nelson. In a fight, people might move and do full nelson in different ways. Whatever they do, if they want to grab and lock you like this, they have to come behind you.
When someone grabs you like this, it feels like he has full control. You can move and try to escape but whatever you do to get out of this, the attacker puts more pressure. And it becomes more difficult to get out of this.
To defend yourself, you can raise your both hands and grab the attacker's neck. Now you can throw him in front of you. You can use your body to make this technique work. Instead of moving here and there, just grab his neck with both hands, use your body to pull and throw him.
If you do that, you see the attacker on the ground. If you are a woman and a strong guy grabs you like that, you might find it difficult to apply this technique. Or, in case you face an opponent who is stronger and bigger, he will use his strength and prevent you from doing anything.
So what would you do in this situation?
If you analyze the situation carefully, you see that the attacker grabs you and locks you, your hands act against it. For a second, just imagine if a person does not have hands, the attacker cannot lock him like this.
To get out of the full nelson, all you have to do is to raise your both hands up towards the sky and get down fast. You can move your one leg to the side and get down in that direction. You will see that you escape this lock like magic.
