A Favorite Freewrite

Every Tuesday, you have a chance to win a membership to Steem Basic Income, SBI, at the Freewrite House.

Try to win one, my friends. An everlasting vote on your posts is nothing to sneeze at.

We want to make it super easy for you. Your task is to tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrites of others you have read in the last couple of days you really liked. Yup, not your own!!

The comment must be at least 50 words long - no upper limit 🤪

See the rules below for details.

In an ideal world, you also give that person a nice upvote - but we are not going to check on that.

  • Go to the Daily Prompt post by @mariannewest.
  • Read as many Freewrites as you can.
  • Tell us about a freewrite you really liked and why.
  • Your comment must be at least 50 words long telling us about the freewrite.

Choose from the last couple of days if possible so others can go, visit, and, inspired by your description, leave a vote.

Win, Win, Win!!!

My favorite of the week WAS the last installment of @deeanndmathews latest work, but while I was working on this she already posted another!

https://steempeak.com/writing/@deeanndmathews/day-768-5-minute-freewrite-wednesday-prompt-night-shift-and-the-posture-of-innocence-day-35

I am so inspired by our prolific freewriter and how she is able to get her stories to come out so well with the prompts. You can see her recaps and then plans at the top and bottom of each post.

And then to be so consistent too. I think this one will soon be for sale on Amazon and she will be on to the next.

I can only hope to get my act together like this. Goals!

It is always positive to integrate into a community as positive as FreeWrite House, so today I give you my recommendations this week:

  • @fitinfun, although she tells us that this disoriented, shows us her courage and determination to continue writing despite a slight health setback. I hope that when she reads this comment she is better. Here your post.
@isgledysduarte shows us that despite our disorientation we are children of the beloved God with a purpose of life to fulfill. You can read her statement here.
  • @mr-neil, entertains us with his drawer stuck in his house for centuries in which we would encounter some surprises.

Thank you so much for the nomination. I enjoyed writing this one.

Thank you so much for the recommendation, @felixgarciap. I really appreciate your support and will soon be back to health :)

I love to travel and I always read travel posts with a big interest. So, recently I read a post about a trip to Ubud, about Monkey forest. I have never heard about that place before, but the photos and the story itself made me put that place to my bucket list.
First of all, @betterthanhome tell us about how that place have changed during the last few years. The Monkey Forest is not just about monkeys, it is also about temples, which were built centures ago. And I love such places.

If you want to read more, check the post itself

We are so happy that you are participating in our contest and are rewarding you with an upvote. However, the article you suggested is lovely, but not part of the Freewrite. You find many freewrites in the comments of the Daily Prompt on this profile @mariannewest if you like to participate in the future and for winning the SBI

Thank you! I like the idea of this contest :)

glad that you like it! We hope you will become a regular and maybe even try to freewrite with us!

My favourite this week comes from @kaelci with the prompt "night shift": https://steempeak.com/fiction/@kaelci/workingthenightshiftafive-minutefreewrite-has2zonmvj because the story reminded me of the days when I was on night shift and it did suck big time. In my case, it wasn't a choice. @kaelci's story was very relatable and I like the humour that was inserted into the freewrite :)

Perhaps it's because I have been feeling disoriented that today's freewrite recommendations comes in later than usual...

@kaerpediem's freewrite resonated with me. I enjoy being on Steem and posting daily, but I have been slowing down since I started. Reading this FreeWrite || Disoriented makes me want to get my adrenaline pumping again! ^_^

This post from @mr-neil was amusing! It made me smile. That's a big thing since I just wrote a post that talked about processing sadness. Read this The Drawer That Has Been Stuck For Ages and be amused.

From the weekend freewrite, this from @deirdyweirdy is cool! I even laughed at some point. Read Gone. to know what I mean.

That's it for the week! I hope to work on my slacking and get right back on track. ^_^

I recommend @myjob. She used the prompt iced coffee.
We use the word "ice coffee" instead and now I understand why.
@myjob tells about her life and this is the "drinking coffee" part. If you are the only one drinking coffee, what kinds would you drink? Instant coffee, no coffee, substitute for coffee or.. ice in your coffee or no coffee at all?
Read all about it here:

The weekend freewrites are my favorites to read. It always amazes me where the authors are taking these three prompts that often seem impossible to bring together into one coherent story.
I love where @iamraincrystal is taking last weekend's prompts. All I want to say here that we are entering the realm of the supernatural and that there is another story she wrote before that connects. Read it! You won't regret that you did.
