Pellegrini has got to be worrying both about his job and West Ham's position after their 3-1 defeat to Arsenal last night left them teetering 1 point above the drop zone. In contrast, there was a tangible sigh of relief emanating from North London as Arsenal stopped the rot and held firm to get themselves back to within 2 points of European places. The first goalscorer, however, came from West Ham so did you guys fare?
Well, just one person stepped up with the correct score and rather unsurprisingly, no one got Ogbonna of West Ham as the first goalscorer. Full details at the end of the post. That leaves us with 4000 in the post for today's game which takes us back to the Champions LEaguetonight and the tasty match for me tonight is the clash between Ajax and Valencia.....and this game matters a lot to Chelsea who are also in action tonight against Lille.
But hang on, Leeds are at home tonight against Hull City (the tigers hahaha) so we have a bonus day. All winnings paid today will have 50% added IF Leeds beat Hull.....I rather think they will ;-)
Simply write the name of the FIRST GOALSCORER and the CORRECT SCORE as a comment. Competition closes 5 minutes before kick-off of the first game which is 20.00 GMT
In the first goalscorer competition, own goals do not count. In the correct score competition, it's the score after 90mins. Extra time and penalties do not count and the pot for each competition will roll-over if there is no winner. If more than one person chooses the same first goalscorer or correct score, the prize is shared and everyone gets a little upvote! It seems I also need to add, one entry per person. Don't forget the new rule that only people with a rep of 45 or above are eligible to enter unless they have been approved. The bonus will be added to any winnings ONLY if Leeds United win and/or Man U lose and all payouts will never exceed 50% of post payout. Other bonuses paid out at my discretion.
And the winners were.....
@jersteemit rocked up with the correct 1-3 scoreline and takes home the 1000 token prize. Well done mate :-)
