Tucked away amid the trees and nestled amongst the hills of the Catskills is Ashokan Reservoir, a feat of engineering that provides water for the city's residents over 90 miles away. While the causeway is closed to cars and other motorized vehicles, it is open to pedestrians and cyclists. At every point of this easily walkable path, visitors get an awe-inspiring eyeful of the beautiful (and low-key underrated) Catskill Mountains.

I've got another post planned featuring photos I took of the Ashokan Reservoir (the thumbnail is a sneak peek!). I'll also be including more in-depth details about the reservoir's history + info for visitors, so if you enjoy this video, give me a follow (STEEM/dTube username: @oheyo), and keep an eye out for that post!
P.S. I'm just getting my feet wet with videography/cinematography, so I'm very open to any feedback or tips you might have, especially if you're experienced with this medium. :)
