I am not often alone in SE Asia. I live in cities and so crowds are a part of life. Here are some scenes from my time living in Bangkok Thailand when I took notice of those around me.
Chinese tourists will not get separated if they keep their hats. We are waiting to clear the Immigration Checkpoint at Don Mueang International Airport. It is forbidden to take photos here.
I could not help it. I was staying occupied for my 1.5 hours in this line.
Lining up for the elevator to the parking lot at a Bangkok Mall.
Waiting for the MRT train to come.
Thank God for cell phones.
At 8pm the train is busy, but not overly so. These cars don't have many seats so more people can be packed on as needed.
Here I show one of my most crowded rides ever on the MRT. This was about 5:30 pm, and not a time to ride for fun. I was wedged between people and not leaning on anything or holding onto anything. Lucky I only had a few stops to go.
I used a Canon ELPH160 point and shoot camera for these photos.
