Sort of Governors is set to meet today as the league tries to figure out how to resume the seeding season and how to put together a playoff format. Brian Windhorst earlier this morning hearing about a specific scenario for one particular team.
As the NBA considers its options on resuming the 2019-20 season, the league office is reportedly looking at ways to include Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.
Brian Windhorst quote “one of the things I've been here is I've talked to people in the league is the league is gonna set up this playoff plan to make sure that one Williamson is involved. Now I have to tell you greenie that paranoia is at the top of the list with anything in the NBA and the league is screwing me. And they're helping that guy and in this case.”
You know there's a number of different reasons why the league would want to have 20 or 24 teams and when you look at the some of these proposals it basically involves adding extra West teams and making sure the 10th place or including at least the 10th place New Orleans pelicans.
