1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
Praying with the psalms leads us to have an intimate and personal relationship with the Lord, so in this time of quarantine, it has been conducive so that in our homes we have moments of closeness with the members of our family and also meditate on the purpose that God has for our life.
The church, accepting the call of the authorities, has stopped its in-person liturgical activities, but maintains its presence on social media, continuing its task of evangelizing and carrying the word of God and support for the spiritual growth of the faithful.
Here Psalm 91, for me represents a beacon that illuminates my soul bringing me the consolation to accept the will of God and gives me the confidence of the Lord's mercy for his children.
Let us ask the Lord for strength in these times of change and that the world accept Christ as its savior and redeemer. I ask it in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
