Newlyweds Arnold and Stephanie are very happy as they arrived at the "airport" of Bahamas for a one-week vacation, and honeymoon. They are aware about what's happening in the world, but they seemed unfazed by the illness that's affecting several countries.
They went to an island which has an exclusive resort where they'll be staying for the whole week. For them, it is a breather from their hectic schedule from their job, as well as to gain peace amidst the current events. Hence, they decided neither to connect in the internet nor watch the news on TV.
They enjoyed the first up to the third day being in the island. It's like living in the paradise without any thoughts that will make them anxious. From parasailing to diving, it just feels so divine, and that they appreciated more of God’s creations.
On the fourth day, the couple shocked why many people are leaving the resort, and no new customers coming in. Unaware about what's on the news, one of the employees has informed them about the lockdown that will be imposed the next day. But their plane ticket is due for the next few day. Flights will be suspended after two days, thus they are unable to come back to their home, and stuck in the island with other few tourists in the resort left.
During the pandemic, tourists are very much affected when lockdowns are imposed. They may be stuck in a city, an island, or in a far away land but unable to go home because of suspended flights and travels. Due to the limited government reach to certain places, a lot of them are living in horror in a sense that it affected them mentally and emotionally, then eventually physically. It was sad to see millions has been stranded where they're presently at when lockdowns are inplemented.
