New Hive Cat is here. Meet Blue, the little rascal we rescued last week.
We had no intention to bring another cat at home. But the thing is when my hubby saw in the middle of the day little kitten dying on a hot turmac road with eyes shut, dehydrated and only skin and bones, well, how to leave it? He took it, washed it and went to see the vet. The cat got virus infection and the vet gave us eye drops. Thanks to them the eyes are much better now.
Tomorrow we will bring it to the vet for another check up and another deworming.
I am pleased to see how big appetite Blue has. Still skinny, but got energy and is very playful.
The biggest challenge is to make Furry, the older cat to accept Blue. But first Blue must be healthy. Which gives time to make Furry to get used to the new smell. She was not happy in the beginning. I know it will take time and I very much hope they both can live together.
Almost forgot to tell why we named the new cat Blue. Hubby found it next to a blue Peugeot and decided that Blue will do. Better than to call it Peugeot. Funny story, a mate from work found a kitten hidden in the bonnet of their car. They named it Focus, because their car is Ford Focus.
Last night we had a lot of entertainment with Blue, who was bouncing and playing and finally decided to climb on my shoulder.
Mind you, this cat has big ears!
It is going to be a very interesting time in our house.
Thank you for viewing.
