Yesterday I went to the mall to do some shopping. I haven't been there since the lockdown started, which was in March. There's a good reason why I've been avoiding that place and the reason is still there. I went yesterday for the last time as I'm not going to go there this year again.
I did a lot of walking as the mall is big and what I saw shocked me. The place that other times used to be full of people was almost empty. Shelves were 75% full, products were all over the place like no one cared to arrange them. As I see it, it is just a matter of time till they close the place down again. I don't know how they are paying rent in those conditions.
I got what I went for and was good to walk a lot again but it was also shocking to see that part of reality again. Social distancing has its advantages but has also disadvantages and one of them is you live in your own bubble without seeing reality with your own eyes. We knew this is going to happen but seeing it with your own eyes is a different thing.
