My son and I played disc golf on the more difficult eighteen basket course today. The weather was really nice and there was not much wind. We had a really nice game and I won by three throws with twelve over par.
For this course I feel like we played pretty good but it was not our best score.
My son threw a personal best distance drive of over four hundred feet. We were on a hill and did not see where it landed so we searched for some time in the tall grass to locate it.
On two other throws my son landed deep in the bushes on the side of the fairway but we managed to get them back. There was a lot of extra steps spent searching for discs today. The course took about an hour longer to play than usual.
We might not play this course again until things get less overgrown. The tree leaves, tall grass and thick brambles get more difficult as the summer season starts. The course does have some amateur tee pads that we might use next time if we play this course again before fall.
