Back home after a couple of days away with friends so time for my Wednesday Actifit report.
A restful couplxe of days up in the cooler mountains to rest a bit, although my body is still really tired these days. At least the dogs had a chance to enjoy some cool and clear water for a change.
I ran this early afternoon when we got back and my effort wad quite good considering I haven't felt that great or energetic these past few days. The sweat was pouring off my head even though the temperatures were only about 90 with a breeze.
Guess it's probably a good thing my 24 hour for July was cancelled as I'm thinking I really need to rethink my training and diet so I don't crash and burn this Autumn when I do actually run a race.
Maybe I'm just getting old but I'm too fatigued and sore for my liking on my runs.
Time to sleep and try again tomorrow . Maybr an easy short run or a nice hike in the hills for a change - let's see what Thursday brings.
