Italian Brescia striker Mario Balotelli is in trouble again in the Serie A club. On Wednesday morning, the striker failed to return from training and the club has not seen him since Monday. Italian media reported ANSA, Calciomercato and Tuttomercatoweb.
Last week, too, Balotelli failed to attend the training ground, and the club is well and thoroughly tired of the Italian's approach to the expected discipline in the relegation-threatened club. Brescia's owner, Massimo Cellino, commented on the entire Balotelli situation last week, blaming the attacker as a mistake.
29-year-old Balotelli came to Brescia for free last summer from French Olympique Marseille, where he also had problems with the discipline, and had a contract with the Serie A team until the summer of 2022. However, the deal will be torn if the Lombard club moves into the Serie B. In Serie A this season, Balo has scored five goals for Brescia in 19 league matches.
