Intersection of road between Self vote and Curation

Hi Steemian how are you? Hopefully always healthy and creative work.
Since the downvote event of my own post I became determined not to upvote my own posts. If we think about it actually with a small upvote value we can actually say it is not effective to add rewards to your own posts. Now I will use more to give upvote on posts that I consider good and have better economic potential.
Also yesterday I read a post from @abh12345 about curation and engagement leagues which in my opinion is a cool movement for Steemian who no longer do self-voting. They are more likely to provide support for the growth of other accounts. Of course this is proof that in Steem there is positive synergy between Steemians. Then I ask him to be counted as a member. To find out more you can read on the following link.
The Curation and Engagement Leagues 🏆

Self Upvote VS Curation

Self-vote is actually a right for all Steemian . All posts made can we upvote. The hope will be able to increase the amount of upvote and reward we receive.
However, since HF 21/22 there is a big change in the value of curation with a comparison between curator and author 50:50. This will make us have to think again to do self-voting.
There are several reasons for this:

1. Value is smaller than curation
Self-voting can add to the value of reward but for me and STeemian with a little SP will certainly produce a small value. But most of us hope to get double rewards from upvote and curation. I am sure when doing self-upvote we hope to get more curation and add rewards from the upvote itself.

2. Curate potential posts
We can get more income by curating. Look for good posts with a large income potential. You can also by looking at the amount of reward obtained from posting by the account. However, do not forget we try to give upvote at the right time. With the right time, the curation we get will be greater than our upvote value. Since HF 21/22 to get the biggest curation value is five minutes.

3. Upvote plus comment is self promotion
We know that at Steem we cannot remain silent. Especially for those of us who are still in the position of plankton, redfish and minnows. we must be active to get the attention of all big or whale accounts.
One way is to do an upvote that we add a positive comment on. our consistency in giving upvote and comments will be able to make the account owner give feedback. Curiosity and empathy for us will emerge and can make them come, check reading posts and in the end we can expect to give upvote and curation on our posts.

4. Provide Support
Upvote that we provide means we give encouragement to the account owner. this will have a positive impact to continue to try to improve the ability to write or make posts. Of course it will be very sad when we see the post that we make does not get upvote as we expect. I have experienced post without upvote so that I will try to give support.
Thus my writing may be useful so that we can decide whether to do self-upte or choose curation.

It appears that the Engage bot is not working. Commenting is the best way to make your account grow!
