Value In Action is a programme in Singapore schools to nurture students to contribute to the society in various ways.
Teachers can share the importance of contributing to the society but it would be more impactful to get students to contribute in their little ways to see what they can do to make a difference in the lives of others.
Students from Hong Wen School in Singapore went to Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital to distribute goodie bags and serve breakfast to the elderly patients.
Through this meaningful activity during Children’s Day, students were able to gain valuable experience in giving back to society in meaningful ways.
It was a memorable experience for the students as they were able to experience the joy of giving unconditionally.
