Pulotravels #150: Bakso Mang Oedin in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Bakso Mang Oedin is a meatball and chicken noodle restaurant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The owner of the resto is Indonesian, and run the business in Middle East. Most of their customers are Indonesian, Malaysian and other Southeast asian countries who do pilgrimage in Saudi.

When we were in Saudi few months ago, we visited this famous meatball and noodle restaurant. It was at late afternoon, there were a lot of people having some dinner at the place.

The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, cozy and pleasant. I like they way how they manage the room.

I and my wife ordered a bowl of Bakso (meatball) with noodles, my son and daughter ordered chicken noodles.

The portion is quite big. The taste of Bakso is average, not so as delicious as Bakso in Indonesia. I don’t really know why, may be they try to adjust to Arabian tongue.

However, it is so delicious since we never had Indonesia cuisine for about prior 2 weeks.

If you are Indonesian, I would really recommend this place to enjoy Bakso (meatball) and Mie Ayam (chicken noodle) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
